Admissions & Registration
Admission proceeds in sequence. Prospective students first submit an inquiry to remain informed; registration opens as each semester's course details are confirmed; and enrollment becomes official once professional licensure has been verified by the Office of Admissions.
The Admissions Sequence
I
Inquiry
Submit a request for admissions information to be placed on the Academy List. Inquirers are notified in advance of public announcement and receive course dates, tuition, and registration instructions first.
II
Registration
When registration opens for a semester, prospective students complete the registration form for the course and city of their choosing. Seats are limited and registration remains provisional until review is complete.
III
Verification of Licensure
The Office of Admissions verifies each registrant's active cosmetology or barbering license and professional standing against the eligibility standard for advanced practice.
IV
Official Enrollment
Upon successful verification, the registrant is officially enrolled and issued confirmation of enrollment, the course schedule, and preparation requirements for the session.
