For Salons & Teams
Beyond open enrollment, the Academy delivers private cohorts developed with salon owners and creative directors to raise the standard of an entire team at once.
Custom education begins with a conversation about the team's current practice, the technical gaps it faces, and the standard of service its leadership intends to hold. The Academy then adapts existing courses of study — or composes a sequence from the catalog — for delivery to a single organization.
Private cohorts are scheduled outside the published academic calendar and may be hosted in the salon or in an Academy teaching space. Curriculum, assessment, and credentialing follow the same standards as open-enrollment study.
Eligibility
Custom education is available to licensed salon teams of four or more professionals in good professional standing. All participants must hold an active cosmetology or barbering license in their state of practice.
Forms of Engagement
Private Cohorts
A single course of study delivered exclusively to one salon's team, scheduled around the business.
Composed Curricula
A sequence drawn from multiple disciplines and arranged as a term of study for a team over several months.
Team Residencies
Extended engagement combining instruction, supervised practice, and review of the salon's technical standards.
Leadership Consultation
Advisory sessions for owners and directors on service standards, pricing structure, and continuing education planning.
The Process
Step One
Inquiry
Leadership submits an inquiry describing the team, its size, and the outcomes it seeks.
Step Two
Consultation
The Academy meets with leadership to assess current practice and define learning outcomes.
Step Three
Proposal
A written course of study is proposed, with format, duration, assessment, and scheduling.
Step Four
Delivery
The cohort is convened, instruction is delivered, and participants are assessed and credentialed.

Submit an inquiry and the Office of Admissions will arrange a consultation to define the scope, format, and schedule of a private course of study.
Submit an inquiry to join the Academy List and remain informed as each semester is announced. Members of the list are notified first when registration opens — with advance access to course dates, tuition, and registration instructions. Registration is completed when the semester opens; enrollment becomes official once licensure is verified by the Office of Admissions.
