Advanced Color Education
AdvancedTwo DaysBlonding & Dimension
In two intensive days, refine lightening judgment, placement strategy, and tonal control — with hair integrity governing every decision.
For colorists whose books include blonding work, and who intend to do it at a higher standard.

Overview
Blonding & Dimension examines the most integrity-sensitive work in the color chair: how much lift the hair can responsibly support, and where dimension should live.
Instruction moves from strand assessment and lightener selection through placement strategy, toning, and the maintenance that keeps blonde work wearable.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, graduates will be able to:
- Assess condition, history, and elasticity to determine responsible lift limits
- Select lightening systems and developers appropriate to the hair and the goal
- Plan placement that creates dimension and grows out cleanly
- Control tone with accurate neutralization and glossing decisions
- Prescribe maintenance that protects lightened hair between visits
Evaluation
Faculty evaluation of strand assessment, lightener and developer selection, placement strategy, and tonal control.
The Certificate of Completion is awarded on satisfaction of the Academy’s academic standards, not on attendance alone.

Full faculty biographies will be published as instructors are confirmed for each course.
Credentialing
Graduates receive a Vivid Hue Academy Certificate of Completion in Blonding & Dimension, recognizing advanced professional training.
Continuing education credit hours, where applicable to state licensing requirements, will be listed on this page upon confirmation.
Academic Philosophy
Vivid Hue Academy approaches professional beauty education as a discipline, not a trend. Our curriculum is built on the belief that mastery develops through the deliberate integration of technique, theory, and practice — not repetition alone. Each course is structured to move professionals through guided demonstration, applied practice, and critical evaluation, ensuring that graduates leave not only able to perform a technique, but able to explain the reasoning behind every decision made behind the chair.
Course of Study
Courses are designated Foundational, Advanced, or Mastery. Designation reflects the depth of prior practice a course assumes, not the seniority of the professional enrolled.
